DavidShield is a relatively new insurance company in the Israeli market, having been established just four years ago. Prior to that, we operated as an insurance agency for about 20 years.

As we rapidly grew and transitioned into a full-fledged insurance company, we faced new regulatory obligations, including the need to comply with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley). In our earlier days as an agency, we used mostly manual controls to meet regulatory requirements. Our process typically involved pulling data once or twice a year, followed by sample testing—not comprehensive testing across the entire population. This reactive approach meant we were often addressing issues after they occurred, rather than proactively managing them in real time.
When we transitioned to using the AudITech software, everything changed. The platform enabled us to gain real-time visibility into our audit process, allowing us to identify and address potential issues as they arise, rather than waiting for the annual data pull. With AudITech, we can now resolve issues immediately, ensuring that we reach the end of the year with everything in order.
From my perspective, AudITech offers the ideal solution for SOX IT audits. Its continuous monitoring provides us with an up-to-date view of our systems at any point in the year, which is exactly what we need for effective SOX compliance. For me, the most important aspect of a SOX audit is being able to track and address issues proactively, and AudITech has made that possible.
